With the success of the Niagara power plant in America, a near identical one was made in Canada that was founded my William Rankine. He helped Adams with Niagara Falls power in America so with AC polyphase Rankine's Company Canadian Niagara Power, using the Canadian Horseshoe Falls brought 20,000 horsepower of electricity delivered to the Village of Lake Erie 36.6 miles away from Niagara falls in 1907. As the time passed more generators were made the Ranike power plant would have 11 generators that produced 100,000 horsepower in 1927.
